Hayao Miyazaki is one of Japan’s greatest and most influential animation directors and storytellers, whose whimsical and breathtaking works have won critical and popular acclaim. We are excited to bring his films back to the big screen throughout May & June!
Prince Ashitaka is forced to leave his home after a corrupt demon burdens him with a deadly curse. In search of a cure, Ashitaka finds himself in Iron Town, where growing tensions between animals, gods, and humans could result in a catastrophic war. As he grows close with the humans and forest creatures, Ashitaka must contend with his own moral values and mend the relationship between the villagers and nature.
Princess Mononoke is a tale depicting the connection of technology and nature, while showing the path to harmony that could be achieved by mutual acceptance.
